Special Requests & Monograms 
What are the special requests for suits and shirts that I can add to my order? You indicate your special requests, optionalfeatures, and added customizations  on the measurement form.
  
I would like monograms. Is this possible? It is indeed possible to order monograms on your suits and shirts. There is a $20 fee for this option. This feature can be ordered from the measurement form. Detailed monogram information can be found here.

Gold or Silver buttons can be substituted for the buttons included with the style of suit. This feature can be ordered from the measurement form.  There is a $10 fee for this option.  See button information here.

Fabrics and Styles
I am looking for wrinkle resistant fabrics, durable, everyday wear. Our poly blends, polyester mixes and synthetic blends are perfect for high quality, wrinkle resistant, durable every day wear.
  
I am looking for Fabric Care Information. General Fabric care instructions are sent out with the order itself though generally all wool items must be dry cleaned only; cotton and cotton blends can be machine washed in cold water though we recommend hand washing for durability; and, pure silk or silk blends should be hand washed or dry cleaned only. No item should have a hot iron applied directly but should always have a white linen cloth between the iron and the custom garment or better still, should be ironed from the reverse side or steam pressed. Only use very hot irons for pressing pure cotton cloth. We also recommend natural drying over machine drying and hand wash over machine wash for all our cotton and cotton blend products. Dry clean only and steam press for our wool or silk products. 

A FEW QUICK TIPS ON STAIN REMOVAL. If you have stains on your suits, other than having them cleaned by professional dry cleaners, here are a few "quick fixes" you can try:
Lipstick
    Use hot water to rub off the oil base, then use soap to wash off
Alcohol
    Breathe tobacco smoke on it to prevent rings from forming, then wash off with hot water or rubbing alcohol
Blood
    Rub off with hydrogen peroxide
Chewing Gum
    Do not attempt to peel it off as it will stick deeper into fabric fiber. Put ice on it to solidify the gum then peel it off when it gets hard.
Drinks
    Use diluted vinegar to wash it off
Shoe Polish - Rub off with petrol
    Coffee - Rub off with hot water, then wash off with soap
Rust
    Rub off with lemon
Perfume Stain
    Rub off gently with rubbing alcohol

Pricing, Costs, How Much?
What is the price of a pantsuit or blouse? Our pantsuits are $299 each pantsuit (jacket and pants); our cotton blouses are $40 each blouse.

Monograms are an additional $20 for each monogram placement.
If you choose gold or silver buttons, they are an additional $10 each garment.

Measurements, Sizes, How too? When? What?

What is difference between "Slim or Snug Fit", "Athletic Cut" and "Full Fit"? 
A snug fit garment fits close to the body and follows the body’s curves. This is similar to the cut and shape of jackets of the 50s and 60s and very British in proportion with narrower armholes and sleeves. This is more suited to the very slim and lanky physiques. An athletic fit is wider at the shoulders and has more of an hourglass shape, narrowing at the waist for a steeper drop and then following the curvature of the hips more like an Italian Cut. This is perfect for the well-built body and the accent to the shoulders is well suited to those with wider shoulders and narrower tighter torsos. A full it cut drapes and flows over the body and minimizes the curves of the body. This is ideal for larger more substantial or big and tall physiques.

How do I best take sizes? With clothes on or without any clothes on? 
Ours is a very comprehensive form that can be used for all garments, including blouses and pantsuits. Two-dimensional measurements such as lengths, shoulder widths etc. can be taken off another piece of clothing that fits well but three-dimensional measurements such as chest circumference, stomach etc. should be taken off the body. When taking measurements, we would recommend a thin shirt or t-shirt and a well fitting pair of pants be worn. Please do not take measurements wearing a jacket or jeans or shorts and other such casual clothing. Tights, jogging suits, corsets or any other body binding garments should not be worn when taking the sizes. For pants measurements, ideally the pants you wear when taking the measurements should sit exactly where you would like your custom pants to sit. Bear in mind the position of the pants waistband on the waist at the sides, front and back as required when taking the measurements for the pants out seam and U-crotch.

Jacket lengths do not necessarily have to conform to the second knuckle on the thumb since some have long arms and others short arms as well as styles selected also make a difference. Ideally the standard jacket length should cover at least the buttocks at the back and the crotch in the front.

Do not take the neck size of shirts tightly or snugly. Make sure a finger is kept between the tape and the body for comfort allowance for the collar.

When submitting sleeve lengths, do not submit half shoulder and sleeve length, as sleeve length is generally understood. Please measure sleeve length from the top of the shoulder to the length desired as is described in the measurements forms.
 
Can you do large loose shirts? Can you do tight or fitted shirts? Loose baggy slacks? Snug fit pants? Boxy jackets? 
Since we are custom tailors, we can custom make to measure any style of large loose shirts, tight, fitted shirts, loose baggy slacks, snug fit pants and boxy Jackets or other combinations of fit, comfort, cut and proportion you desire; with any measurements specification including various torso measurements and neck/torso dimension combinations. In fact this is exactly what we do as a profession. Such customizations are at no extra charge whatsoever. We would need the complete set of measurements though, as per our measurements forms that can be accessed by logging into the Measurement section at our website. You would need to set up a personal profile and measurements profile in your account at our website before placing the order. 

What if I am an odd size with parts of my physique larger or smaller than other parts of my physique? Such as, what if my neck is a lot larger than the rest of my proportions or what if my sleeves are extra short compared to the rest of me? 
Since we do custom tailoring, we are able make to measure each garment to specifications provided for each individual client. All our products are made from the beginning, from the selection of the style, to the selection of the fabric and color and any custom requests to the actual cutting and finishing of the garment. Hence, we are able to custom make the item to the sizes provided be they consistent or inconsistent to the rest of the physique of the wearer. 

Can I update my measurement profile? Yes the measurements can be easily updated. If your measurements change for whatever reason you can log into your My LawSuits account and update your measurement profile.

The Ordering Process
How do I make changes to an order I have already placed? Please log into your account using the My LawSuits link on menu. Our order tracking system will indicate the status of your order; e.g., ordered, shipped, etc. If however your order is submitted or shipped, obviously you will not be able to make changes. 
 
How do I order? You may order online by using the appropriate forms found on our website. Ordering at www.wearlawsuits.com is easy. First, find and select a garment, choose the fabric type and color we custom tailor for that particular item, and submit it to the shopping cart for online ordering. Second, complete the measurement form and submit online.

Your fully customized, made to measure garments will be completed in 2 to 4 weeks and delivered right to your doorstep!

Payments, Credit Cards, Security Issues, Payment Options
Payment Processing
WearLawSuits.com currently uses PayPal as its merchant provider for payment. The PayPal website at www.PayPal.com has details of its security and privacy policy. If you use your credit card or a bank account for payment, you will be directed to this Third Party merchant account provider. The merchant account provider will collect whatever information and data it needs to verify the credit card information and your personally identifiable information, and charge the appropriate payment to your card or bank. We do not have access to your financial, bank account, or credit card information at any time. Our website will contain the hyperlink to the provider’s server or web page but all transactions are conducted outside of the purview of our web server. Be sure to check links at the tops and bottom of third party pages for Privacy information. Merchant providers maintain their own servers, establish and implement their own secure transaction protocols, and set their own Privacy Policies. We do not have input into any of the systems or policies, and we are not involved with the systems or policies. Questions or concerns must be directly addressed with the Merchant Provider. We do not maintain a relationship with merchant providers and receive no endorsements or favors from merchant providers.

How do I pay for my custom clothing? 
You make payment online through PayPal or if you would like to make other payment arrangements email suits@wearlawsuits.com.

Our Privacy Statement is - wearlawsuits.com does not disclose, sell, give out, or otherwise misuse any information you provide, including, but not limited to: email addresses, names, previous purchases, addresses, measurements, etc. We value your patronage and will always do our best to keep all information strictly confidential.

When do I pay for my order? Do you accept Payment on Delivery? We accept payment when you place the order prior to the order being processed. We do not offer COD terms nor do we offer payment after delivery. All payments have to be made prior to an order being processed. 

Refund Policy: Custom clothing cannot be resold for obvious reasons. Each item is individually cut, patterned and styled with specific measurements and details specific to each individual client. Therefore, we cannot offer refunds or credit for custom tailored goods.
 
What is the CVV/CVC number? What is the 4 digits Amex security number? These are Security features designed by the card issuing establishments to protect you the cardholder and we the merchants from fraudulent activity. The CVV/CVC number is a three digit number displayed at the back of the card in the same strip as the card holders signature after the last four digits of the card number printed at the back on the same strip. This is a security measure instigated by Visa and MasterCard for cards not present, transactions such as those on the internet. The Amex four-digit security number in printed on the front of the card just under the last four digits of the embossed card number. This too is a security feature designed to protect the cardholder and the merchant.

Important Notice - It is important to note that ALL our orders go through a screening process once the order has been placed and payment processed on the order. For example, PayPal payments go through the PayPal credit card checking and processing; if there is difficulty with your credit card, PayPal will alert you and provide instructions on resolving the problem. Checks when deposited are accepted or rejected by the bank and we are alerted if there is a problem. In that case, we will let you know and instruct you on how to finalize your payment to us. We will cancel or suspend orders until your payment issue is resolved. We do charge a 25% fee for orders placed when payment issues are not resolved and before a refund is issued.

 Order Status, Shipping, Turnaround 
Find the status of your order by logging into your account and reading the order tracking information.  While logged in to your account, you can also change your delivery address and be sure to send an email immediately with the new delivery address to suits@wearlawsuits.com.

Shipping and Turnaround is 2-4 weeks after an order is placed. This time is needed to manufacture the item from scratch and ship the item to you.

Shipping Charges on Total Order: 0-200 @15%;  200+  @10%

MyLawSuits Section
To place an order you must create an account in the MyLawSuits Section. You will establish a UserID and a Password. Your password will be electronically recoverable should you forget what password you used. 

You will see your order, your measurements, your contact and delivery information, the costs, and any order tracking information that is relevant to your order.  (Payment information is not stored in your account but rather with your online account at PayPal.)

To place future orders, you will choose your item, its style number and fabric information, be prompted to create or login to your account, and be given the opportunity to change the contact, delivery, and measurement information on file.

Order tracking information will appear in your account to show you the status of your order.  Of course should you have any questions or need assistance please contact us.

Troubleshoot, Technical Issues

Some common electronic problems:  

  • popup blockers, change your PC's popup blocker to allow access for www.wearlawsuits.com
  • spam protection, change your PC's spam protection to allow email from suits@wearlawsuits.com
  • payment PayPal problems, contact PayPal to determine the problem with your credit or bank card

Our Policies, Return Policy, Cancellation Policy
What is the Return Policy at WearLawSuits.com? 
LawSuits is dedicated to maintaining total customer satisfaction to the maximum possible standards. Should there be an inadvertent error made on our part, we will do all the necessary adjustments and/or replacements and reship the order to the client. If the customer has taken or entered measurements incorrectly and the garment doesn't fit as they expected, alterations are the customer's responsibility. An order having been placed cannot be cancelled. This is because once an order is placed, LawSuits sources the appropriate fabrics and places orders with suppliers. Under our terms with our suppliers, fabrics once ordered cannot be cancelled as the materials are cut as soon as ordered.

Please note that full refunds cannot be offered. Custom clothing involves labor and material that are unrecoverable, and we are unable to resell clothing that has been custom tailored for a customer.

I would like to Cancel an Order. Can I? How?
An order cannot be cancelled if it has already been processed. Under some circumstances however, we may allow for an order to be cancelled. For instance, if an order has been processed and the measurements have not been received yet, the order can be cancelled but a 25% cancellation, restocking and administrative fee (based on the order total) would be applied. If measurements have been provided and the order has been processed, the order cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
